From New Jersey/Newark Airport/Philadephia: Take the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) North toward I-80 exits 16E-18E/US-46/Lincoln Tunnel. Keep right toward RT-3/Exit 16E Lincoln Tunnel. Keep left to take NJ-495 East to the Lincoln Tunnel. Stay straight and go onto Dyer Avenue. Turn right on W 42nd Street. Turn left onto 8th Avenue. Turn right onto W 44th Street. From John F. Kennedy International Airport: Take the Van Wyck Expressway ramp and merge onto the Van Wyck Expressway/I-678 North. Take exit 12B to I-495 West/Midtown Tunnel. Stay straight to go onto Tunnel Exit Street/Queens Midtown Tunnel Exit. Turn left on E 37th Street. Turn right on 3rd Avenue. Turn left on E 42nd Street. Turn right on 6th Avenue. Turn right onto W 44th Street. Royalton is 44 W 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
From La Guardia Airport: Follow signs for Grand Central Parkway West and merge onto it toward Manhattan. Take exit 4 to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (I-278) West toward Staten Island. Take exit 25 toward the Midtown Tunnel. Merge onto I-495 West (35W) toward Manhattan on the left. Keep to the right at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto E 37th Street. Turn right onto 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto E 42nd Street. Turn right onto 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. Turn right onto W 44th Street. Royalton is 44 W 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
From Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) West to the Midtown Tunnel. Exit the tunnel and turn left onto E 37th Street. Turn right onto 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto E 42nd Street. Turn right onto 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. Turn right onto W 44th Street. Royalton is 44 W 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
From Boston: Merge onto I-95 South toward New York City. Take exit 14 to the Hutchinson Parkway South toward the Whitestone Bridge. Take exit 1 toward I-95/Cross Bronx Expressway/I-278/Bruckner Expressway. Stay straight to go onoto Bruckner Boulevard. Marge onto I-278 West. Take the exit toward Randalls-Wards Is/Manhattan/FDR Drive. Stay straight to go onto the Triborough Bridge. Merge onto FDR Drive South. Take exit 10 towards E 49th Street and stay straight. Turn left on 2nd Avenue. Turn right onto E 42nd Street. Turn right onto 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. Turn right onto W 44th Street. Royalton is 44 W 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.
Valet Parking: Valet parking costs $52 per night. There are no in/out privileges. The cost will be billed to your hotel account and reservations are not necessary. There is an additional charge of $10 for oversized vehicles. This is a one-time fee.

Arriving at the Airport
From John F. Kennedy Internation Airport (JFK):
Private Car:
A pick-up in a private sedan will cost $145.10 including tax, tolls and gratuity. The price is the same for domestic and international arrivals. You can add this on after making your reservation when booking online or call +1 212 869 4400 to make arrangements with our concierge.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you a $45 flat fee, not including tax, tolls and gratuity. Most taxis will only accept
cash.
Shuttle Service: There are two shuttle companies:
Supershuttle and
Airlink. They are shared ride
vans and can deliver you to Royalton for $15 per person. Please be
aware that this may take an hour and a half, as they stop at several locations. You cannot make advanced
reservations, but you can find an agent at Ground Transportation.
Airtrain/Subway: You can take
Airtrain from JFK to Sutphin Boulevard in Queens
and then transfer to the E towards Manhattan. Take this to the 42nd Street-Port Authority Stop. Exit and walk two blocks east to 6th Avenue and turn north and walk two more blocks to 44th Street. Royalton is located at 44 W 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. This is not recommended if you have a lot of luggage. The cost is $2 for the
subwayand $5 for the Airtain and travel will take an hour and a half to two hours.
From LaGuardia (LGA):
Private Car: A pick-up in a private sedan will cost $131.40 including tax, tolls and gratuity. The price is the same for domestic and international arrivals. You can add this on after making your reservation when booking online or call +1 212 869 4400 to make arrangements with our concierge.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is a metered fare of approximately $35-$50, not including tolls or tip. Most taxis will only accept cash.

From Newark (EWR):
Private Car:
The easiest and most convenient way to come from Newark is by a private car service. The price of a town car will be $155 including tolls and gratuity. The price is the same for domestic and international arrivals. You can add this on after making your reservation when booking online or call +1 212 869 4400 to make arrangements with our concierge.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a metered fare, which will cost you around $40-$55 plus tolls and gratuity. Most taxis only accept cash.
Shuttle service: There are two shuttle companies:
Supershuttle and
Airlink. They are shared ride vans and can deliver you Royalton for approximately $19 per person. Please be aware that this takes longer, as it is a shared service stopping at several locations. You cannot make advanced reservations, but you can find an agent at Ground Transportation.
Lastly, you could take the
PATH train into Penn Station (33rd Street). At $2 per ride, this is the most economic way. However, this may not be practical if you are carrying a lot of luggage with you.

Public Transportation
Subway: Royalton is located near the 42 Street / Bryant Park Station which includes the B, D, F or V lines. The subway is 24 hours but runs less often at night. It costs $2 per ride, or you can purchase unlimited ride passes. Visit the

Taxi: Taxis can be hailed throughout the city. They are metered and usually only accept cash.
