How can I retrieve my lost item?

If you misplaced an item during your visit to The Royalton Hotel please submit a claim here. If prompted, enter the client identification number 34217. You will receive a response regarding your personal property within 72 hours.

Where is the hotel located?

The Royalton New York is located on West 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in the heart of New York's Midtown.

What time are check-in and checkout?

Check-in: 3 PM ET
Checkout: 12 PM ET
Please note that guests must be 21 years old to check in to the hotel.

What is included in the daily facility fee?

The Royalton New York's daily facility fee of $35 plus tax includes Wi-Fi, unlimited local and international phone calls and access to the the fitness center. 

Do you HAve room service?

No, we do not offer room service.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes, Wi-Fi is included in the facility fee. No password is needed.

does the hotel have a gym?

Yes, there is a fitness center on the 4th floor with Peloton bikes, cardio machines and strength-training equipment.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, there is a safe in the closet.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in room rates.

do the rooms have central air conditioning and heating?

No. Each room has its own stand-alone cooling unit. In the winter, the cooling function is turned off and we use fans to circulate heating from a separate hot water coil. 

What are the hours of the restaurant and bar?

The restaurant and bar are temporarily closed. We would be happy to recommend restaurants steps from the hotel.

What time is last call for drinks in the bar?

The bar is temporarily closed. We look forward to reopening.

Are there connecting rooms?

Yes, we have some connecting rooms, including Standard and Superior Rooms. Penthouse South and Penthouse North also connect.

Do you offer in-house laundry?

No, we do not offer in-house laundry service. However, we can arrange to send out your dry cleaning Monday through Saturday. There is a laundry bag inside each guestroom closet with dry cleaning pricing, information and pick-up times. 

Are pets allowed?

We welcome one dog up to 20 pounds in each room! There is a fee of $125 plus tax per room to cover the additional cleaning. Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms. Unfortunately, we aren't able to welcome cats or other pets. 

Do you have rollaway beds?

No. We do have a limited amount of air mattresses available for an additional charge of $25 per night.

do you offer parking?

Valet parking is available at the following rates:
$80 per 24 hours for standard size vehicles
$90 per 24 hours for oversized vehicles
Prices include applicable taxes. 

Self-parking is offered in the Hippodrome garage located on 44th between 5th and 6th beside the hotel.
The self park rates for Royalton Hotel guests are:
$55 per 24 hours for sedan
$65 per 24 hours for oversized vehicles
Prices include applicable taxes. Payment is accepted at the garage, not at the hotel.

How far are you from the airport?

JFK: 45 minutes to 1 hour (cab fare: $79 flat fee including rush hour surcharge plus toll and tip)
LGA: 40 minutes (cab fare: $40-$62 metered plus surcharges and tip)
EWR: 1 hour (cab fare: $85-$120 metered plus surcharges, tolls and tip)

Is there a refrigerator in the room?

Yes, each guestroom has a small refrigerator. A limited number of additional refrigerators are available by request. 

Do you accept cash?

We are a cashless property. We do not accept cash as a method of payment. A valid credit card is required at check-in.

Does the hotel require a deposit for incidentals?

Upon check-in, the Royalton New York will place a $100 deposit for incidentals on your credit card. If no incidentals are purchased during your stay, the hotel will release the incidental deposit on the day of your departure. Depending on your financial institution, it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to return to your available balance.

Can I have packages delivered to the hotel?

Yes! We can hold up to three parcels at no charge. For each additional parcel, there is a fee of $20. 

Are there ice machines on each floor?

No, the hotel does not have ice machines. Ice is not available.

do the rooms have an iron and ironing board?

Yes, both an iron and ironing board are located in the closet. 

Does the television have smart TV capabilities?

Yes, all televisions are equipped with Chromecast, which allows you to use your personal devices to interact on a larger screen. 

Does the television have HDMI ports?

Yes, all televisions have HDMI ports.

Is there a radio in the room?

No, the rooms do not have radios. However, you can stream music using the smart TV in your room.

Are there fireplaceS in the Rooms?

The guestroom fireplaces are a decorative architectural detail and are not functional. 

Are cribs available?

No, we do not have cribs. However, we do have a limited amount of Pack 'n Plays available upon request for no additional cost. 

Is babysitting available?

We are unable to book babysitting services. However, we recommend the following two services:

Where is the closest pharmacy?

There is a Walgreens located on 530 5th Avenue between 44th and 45th Street.

is the bedding hypoallergenic? 

The guestroom bedding is made with feather products. Hypoallergenic bedding is available upon request; please let us know at the time of booking. 

What in-room amenities are included? 

In each guestroom, the Royalton New York offers shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion by Pure Brand. Hair dryers and makeup mirrors are provided as well. 

What amenities are available by request? 

Forget something? Give us a call at the front desk. We keep Q-tips, shower caps, toothpaste, deodorant, sewing kits, tampons, universal adaptors, slippers, razors and shaving cream, collar stays and electric water kettles on hand.
